Wexford Chamber Choir

The main goal of WCC is to introduce high-quality Early, Classical and contemporary choral music to a wider audience, and thus developing musical tastes while enriching the cultural life of the South-East community.

Founded in 2015 as a close community of Marketa’s students, with its first conductor Nick Day, the choir has since opened its membership to the wider artistic community in Co. Wexford. It now includes young emerging singers alongside older, vocally trained and highly experienced singers.

THE VOICES OF FOUR SEASONS
FESTIVAL - 2026 plan

  1. March - A half day public workshop at singing with Markéta in the Enniscorthy Castle. The date to be confirmed.

  2. May - 4 concerts in South-East Ireland with the choir's new conductor, Rebecca Warren. 2 of the concerts will be preceded with a 30 min interactive, educational musical experience where the audience will be taught a piece of music, that will be later included as the first choral piece of our concert. 

  3. July - a three day workshop for the choir members, in Enniscorthy. The workshop will be open to the public. 

  4. August - a week of Master Classes with soprano, Kateřina Fürstová for Irish and Czech singers in Contursi Terme (Naples), Italy.

  5. September 18th – Choir performance as part of Culture Night, St. Iberius, Wexford. 

  6. December - 4 Christmas concerts of the Ryba’s Czech Christmas Mass (Missa solemnised Festis Nativitatis, 1796)
