The main goal of WCC is to introduce high quality Early, Classical and contemporary choral music to a wider audience, and to develop musical tastes while enriching the cultural life of the South-East community.

Founded in 2015 as a close community of Marketa’s students, with its first conductor Nick Day, the choir has since opened its membership to the wider artistic community in Co. Wexford. It now includes young emerging singers alongside older, vocally trained and highly experienced singers.

After a year leadership of conductor Simóne Lowe, the choir welcomed its new Musical Director, Adél Komáromy from Hungary, from January 2026. The Vocal Director for the choir is Marketa Malcova.
